Alice Cooper Tour Dates: October 2010 - US , November 2010 - Europe

With a career that spans five decades, Alice Cooper has had a major impact on the development of rock and roll. Alice Cooper shows are known for their entertaining and intense nature. Drawing on a variety of influences, Alice Cooper is credited with creating the "Shock Rock" genre that has inspired artists like Nine Inch Nails, Slipknot, Kiss (tickets), Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson to this day. Alice Cooper shows feature a wide range of props, including guillotines, blood, electric chairs, snakes and more. He is one of the very first artists to play on audience emotion to the most extreme - that's why Cheap Alice Cooper Tickets are so valuable today!

Born Vincent Damon Furnier of Allen Park, MI, Alice Cooper was a child of the baby boom generation, he wouldn't, however, end up in the wholesome household role that most children of that era subscribed to- Alice Cooper was born to rock. Raised in a strictly religious family, Cooper was very involved in church functions until age 12. By age 16 he was miming Beatles acts in talent shows with his friends - not able to play an instrument himself, it took one talent show win and the taste of fame to push him to learn how to sing. His first real band, The Spiders, was inspired by The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Who, The Kinks and The Yardbirds. After high school the band became more serious, earned a number one hit on the radio and moved to Los Angeles where Vincent Furnier would permanently change his name and the very first Alice Cooper tickets would go on sale.

Adopting the persona of a 17th century witch from a Ouija board session, Alice Cooper would stir up a controversy in the conservative 60's. Back then, Alice Cooper tickets gave audience members a glimpse into a surreal world created by vocalist Alice Cooper (Furnier), lead guitarist Glen Buxton, rhythm guitarist Michael Bruce, bassist Dennis Dunaway and drummer Neal Smith. Frank Zappa was so impressed with the band's ability to shock an audience that he signed the band to a three album contract with his label Straight Records.

It wasn't until their third album, and the divergence from psychedic rock to protopunk, that Alice Cooper and Alice Cooper tickets would see success. "I'm Eighteen," produced by Bob Ezrin, would be their first hit track reaching the number 21 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 and earning a place on Rolling Stone Magazine's 500 Greatest Songs of All Time list. The breakthrough album, "Love it to Death" was released in Feb 1971. Around this time, Alice Cooper began to adopt a "brattier machismo" persona and Alice Cooper tickets to Alice Cooper concerts gave audience members access to special effects, decapitated dolls and the piece de resistance - The Guillotine.

In total, Alice Cooper has released seven studio albums with his band and a whopping eighteen solo albums. Top singles from both his band and solo career include "I'm Eighteen," the epic "School's Out," "Only Women Bleed," "I Never Cry," "You And Me," "How You Gonna See Me Now?" and "Poison." He has received the 2007 Scream Awards Rock Immortal Award, an honorary doctoral degree from Grand Canyon University and a Living Legend Award at the 2006 Classic Rock Roll of Honour event. Cooper has also conquered alcohol addiction and continues to counsel other musicians to battle the same plight.
