About Sting
Arguably one of the most iconic rock stars to ever exist, Gordon Matthew Sumner, known as Sting, brought the post punk, new wave wonder The Police to the forefront of mainstream music in the late 70s, 80's 90's and today with the Back-to-Bass tour. Born to a milkman and a hairdresser in Wallsend, England in 1951. When Gordon was young, he would follow his father on milk delivery routes playing an old Spanish guitar his uncle left behind.
