As the American players piled on him in celebration, Dempsey was quick to point to Donovan as the playmaker. What a goal!!
Mexico's semifinal against Honduras was a frenetic affair, with both teams competing hard. The game went the entire 90 minutes without a goal. In the early stages of extra-time (or "overtime") guess who popped up with yet another goal...Chicharito! Little Pea continued his scoring streak, after a goal by De Nigris in the 93rd minute. Little Pea's real name is of course Javier Hernandez, and he is enjoying a dream CONCACAF Gold Cup after an amazing debut season in the English Premier League. Let's hope the USA can contain Chicharito and Co. because this is going to be one of the hardest CONCACAF Gold Cup final tickets to find very soon!
