About Jason Aldean
Independent, country, crossover recording artist Jason Aldean is writing his own story. Born in Macon, Georgia, Aldean was playing in the house band at the local bar at age 15. Since his self-titled debut album and hit singles Why and Amarillo Sky, Aldean has been winning over fans hearts and minds from the beginning.
In 2009, Aldean worked with singer Bryan Adams on an episode of CMT Crossroads and recorded his third album Wide Open with Alabama alum Randy Owen, one of Aldean’s country idols growing up. The album featured hits She's Country, Big Green Tractor andCrazy Town.
In 2010, Aldean completed work on his fourth album, My Kinda Party and the first single of the same name, as well as his crossover hit Don’t You Want to Stay featuring a duet withAmerican Idol,/i> sweetheart Kelly Clarkson, and the song Dirt Road Anthem where Aldean literally raps.
