From small-town band to worldwide sensation, Rush, the best-selling Canadian rock band in history, is back and Rush Tickets are on sale right now! Schoolmates Jeff Jones, John Rutsey and Alex Lifeson formed Rush in Toronto back in 1968. After several lineup changes, the current inception of the band with front man Geddy Lee, guitarist Alex Lifeson and drummer John Rutsey (replaced by Neal Peart in 1974) , solidified and their first single "Not Fade Away" was released. Record companies were slow to react so the band formed their own label "Moon Records" to produce their debut eponymous album in 1974. It received comparisons to Led Zeppelin at the time. The single "Working Man" got regular play on Canadian radio stations and was released in the US by Mercury Records. By 1974 Rush tickets would go on sale for a concert with headliners Uriah Heep and Manfred Mann increasing their exposure.

Drummer Neal Peart would assume the role of lyricist from Geddy Lee and write the band's first tale in the form of "Fly By Night (1975)" and the heavier "Caress of Steel (1975)." Rush tickets would sell below expectation that year due to the strong deviance from the bands original bluesy style. Becoming more and more immersed in hard rock, Rush would ignore their record label's pleas to produce a more digestible album and release "2112" - largely considered their breakthrough album. The following Rush tour sold out of Rush concert tickets almost immediatly and resulted in a live album "All the World's a Stage."

Since then, the band has released fifteen albums, seven of which (including "Moving Pictures") have topped Canadian and US charts. To date, Rush is considered the most successful Canadian hard rock band and have received a range of awards including an induction into the Canadian Music Hall of Fame and the Juno Award for Artist of the Decade (80s). Rush is known for perfectly recreating their studio albums during Rush concerts with the use of large range of digital samplers making Rush tickets one of the most highly regarded concert tickets available.

Rumors have been circulating that Rush will release their 19th, full-length studio album, "Clockwork Angels," in 2011. The rumors were further confirmed by Lifeson who stated to The Globe and Mail that the band had already written six songs with projected Spring 2011 release date. In addition, Rush announced the upcoming Time Machine Tour featuring the band playing "Moving Pictures" in it's entirety - will the band play tracks off of their new album?
